In this episode, we answer the following questions:

  1. What is the best way of measuring accounting talent?
  2. Do traditional hiring processes in accounting do a good job of hiring?
  3. What kinds of candidates might accounting firms overlook as a result of a poor hiring process?
  4. What wider issues might poor hiring and recruitment contribute to in accounting?
  5. What changes can accountancy firms make to redress these issues and hire better quality candidates?
  6. How do skills tests work for accounting roles?
  7. How do candidates in the accounting talent pool feel about this approach?
  8. What difference does a skills based approach in accounting make to successful hires on the job?
  9. What does talent look like in the new world of work in accountancy firms?
